EMS Technologies, along with our media sponsor, Aviation Week & Space Technology Magazine, look forward to hosting a National Press Club panel event on the future of in-flight connectivity.
A revolution in global communications is taking place – one that promises to bring greater productivity and superior in-flight experiences to business and leisure travelers alike. Airlines in Europe are leading the charge to let passengers surf the Web, e-mail and talk at 30,000 feet. Despite a ban on the use of personal devices in-flight in the U.S., the question is not whether connectivity will come to North America, but when and how. The panelists will discuss the current state of the in-flight communications market, including the technology, regulatory and political challenges and opportunities for the airline industry as they ready for what promises to be significant opportunities for growth and differentiation in commercial airline service.
See you in Washington.
Paul Domorski, CEO, EMS Technologies, Inc.

“Aviation is high tech, but before advanced technology can connect the passenger cabin to the ground it has to make a business case. This panel will try to get to the bottom line of that business case and forecast what might happen next.” |
